My Favorite Movie of All Time

Posted by: Kimberly  /  Category: Acting, Great Products, Movie Reviews

Want to take a guess? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

*********************************

Well, it’s The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy! Yup…I am a Rings freak!

I could not even begin to tell you how many times we have watched all 3 movies in our household…Good thing everyone in the house is just as crazy for it!

If you have never ever seen The Lord Of The Rings, it is a serious MUST! The acting, for every character, is superb! The videography is wonderful, the New Zealand scenery is amazing, and the special effects are too good!!!

Check it out:

My mother says the epic novel, The Lord of the Rings in a 3 Volume (Trilogy) Set, written by J.R.R. Tolkien is even better than the movies, if that is at all possible!

I hope you enjoyed this… Until next time…

Norweigian Bicycle Lift

Posted by: Kimberly  /  Category: Life, Neat Stuff, Sports

What a great idea is that? Wow…must be unrelenting when riding bikes in the mountainous terrain of the villages…LOL…

Some people may see this as lazy, and maybe they’ve never ridden a bike up a huge hill before that seemingly doesn’t end…

I could see how these hills may discourage more people from going out to exercise…These lifts may actually get more people into fitness that otherwise would not be interested.

Anyway…I thought this was one of the coolest things I’ve seen. I also love how creative the residents of this community are, especially when riding the lift up with their baby carriages…

Check it out here: Bicycle life in Norway

Cosmetic Laser Treatments Are A New Craze

Posted by: Kimberly  /  Category: Beauty Tips, Look Great, What's New

Let’s face it…There are a lot of things many of us would change about their bodies if we could. Am I correct?

As a woman, for example, we have to shave constantly…It gets old quickly! Laser Hair Removal or Reduction is a new craze…rightfully so! It’s often a permanent solution to this womanly dilemma!

Back HairHair removal is not just for ladies anymore…Men are becoming more self-conscious about their body hair too…

What about that crazy tattoo many people get when they are a teen or in college, or even on a drunk night out? I would dare to say that so many people are tired of them, embarrassed by them or simply want them gone forever!

In fact, one of my cousins just had Laser Tattoo Removal to remove a small heart on his shoulder that was done when he was much younger by an amateur…LOL…It’s completely gone now with no scar or skin discoloration.

Some people are uncomfortable with their birthmarks or skin pigmentation issues.

There are so many things to discuss about skin alone that people think of improving or changing.

Beauty Laser Treatments are non-invasive treatments for so many skin issues and conditions. They are relatively painless and are often a permanent solution to these problems mentioned above.

While I was “stumbling” around online the other day, I came across a great information site dedicated to laser beauty treatments, BeautyLaser.com/au. I felt it was a good site if you have been researching any of these treatments.

Plus, they had a few other treatments I was unaware of that can use laser therapy. Neat stuff!

Fault-Finder: How To Deal With Your Critics – Your Friends

Tiger CriticThere’s The “Honest” Critic
There’s The “Change-Averse” Critic
There’s The “Nay-Saying” Critic

There’s The “Mother Of All Critics” : Your Mother

Ever feel like everyone has a handle on how to run your own life better than you…

Ever feel like in like someones negativity is holding your back…

Your just about to embark on a adventure that you’ve been so excited about and then:

…out comes Mr./Ms. Negativo to tell you all the reasons it won’t work!

Eventually if you don’t discover how to deal with this, the voice inside you that is the real YOU will start to diminish.

You’ll be living someone else’s life, never really fulfilling your own dreams and desires. Never really fulfilling or finding you purpose in this world.

How Oysters Make Pearls – A Valuable Life Lesson

Posted by: Kimberly  /  Category: Life, Neat Stuff

I posted a story on my ExoticAnimalLover.com site today that I got from a friend.

Yes, it is about how pearls are made, but inside of this story is a very valuable lesson that I just had to share with you here…Enjoy!

“Do you know how a pearl is made?” The old man asked me.
An irritant enters the shell of an oyster; sometimes very small, sometimes not so small.

The oyster, aware of it’s pain, begins to cover the irritant’s jagged edges with a solution created from inside itself. It will continue to slowly cover the invader until it no longer feels pain, until what we call the pearl is formed.. The oyster does not hate the irritant, it simply responds according to it’s nature, and creates out of it’s pain a jewel.

There is no pearl of hatred.”

~ Unknown

Wow…Not only did we learn something about how a pearl is made, but maybe we can take this excerpt and apply it to our lives and the pain we experience.

If we could make a jewel out of every hurt and pain we have inside, we could make this world, and ourselves, a better place to be! Must be why they are called “Pearls of Wisdom”.

String these pearls together and you have Read more…
