In the past few days, I have held 1 of the top 3 spots to qualify for the Las Vegas Pageant for The World’s Most Beautiful Woman!

It will run until about 2:00 am EST tonight…The top 3 for August globally will advance to the final pageant!!!

That could be me…But I need some more support today, as the down voting is atrocious and vicious!

I got a sample in the mail of the Sunsilk Anti-Flat Shampoo, Sunsilk Anti-Flat Conditioner and Sunsilk Anti-Flat Weightless Volumizing Creme.

Firstly, it smells nice, but a little more perfumey than I would choose if I shopped to buy products at the store.

The shampoo has amazing latherability! I used about 1/2 of what I usually would with other shampoos and I was able to generously work it through my long hair.

It rinses out nicely and leaves your hair squeaky clean…There’s something about that squeaky clean that I enjoy, especially after a hard workout or working on rehabbing a house.

The conditioner coated my hair and lasted well through the combing process. However, the sample size is apparently not for people with long hair because I should have used double what they gave me to be comfortable.

My hair had nice body after it dried and was quite shiny too, probably due to the volumizing cream…It didn’t feel greasy to the touch, nor did it make my hair look or feel greasy.

All in all, I would give this system a thumbs up!

The Juravinski Cancer Centre’s Breast Disease Site Team hosts the inaugural Bright Run/Walk to support breast cancer research in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

BRIGHT stands for Breast Cancer Research in Greater Hamilton Today and underscores the commitment the JCC’s Breast Disease Site Team has to its patients through treatment and leading-edge research. In fact, the JCC is home to many renowned researchers whose work in clinical trials and health services research has improved and advanced the treatment of breast cancer patients locally, nationally and around the world.

BRIGHT Run participants will have the option of walking or running along the beautiful Rail Trail. Walkers can choose a 1km or 5km route and runners can choose a 5km or 10km route. There will also be many activities at the Trail Centre for participants of all ages to enjoy. Best of all, proceeds from the BRIGHT Run will benefit the JCC’s Breast Cancer Research Program.

All monies raised will stay in Hamilton and be used specifically at the Juravinski Regional Cancer Centre for breast cancer research. None of the funds will go into the Toronto program. Also – all radiation treatments for the Niagara area is done at JCC.

The Reason I’m Running
My Mother is a 2 1/2 yr breast cancer survivor, and was treated in Hamilton with radiation. I am so very blessed to have my mother still with us, as we know all too well how serious cancer can be, as we lost my father to a rare cancer, the same week we found out mom’s diagnosis.

Firstly, this conditioner smells like an Orange Creamsicle! Yummy & so very unexpected from this grey, professional, salon-looking bottle! Love that!

It is easy to distribute through wet hair and does a phenomenal job aiding in detangling in the shower…

Now, I have super long hair, if you didn’t already know, and it can be difficult with conditioners that don’t adequately coat the hair long enough to comb through it in the shower.

It is very conditioning and moisturizing without being greasy. It also has a great ability of dealing with frizzy flyaways.

It provides me with good volume and body too!

Does it really take that much effort to be nice to someone…To be amicable? Really?

Being as sweet as pie doesn’t take any more effort than being rude or grumpy…

In fact, if you just try to be nice, you will be so surprised at how much happier and calm you will be in your life, overall.

Smiles and friendliness can be contagious, so why not try to pass it on…

It could make a serious difference in someone’s life today…And it may just be you!

There are days that someone is rude to you or offends you, and you either think about it, or tell the story all day long to people who will listen.

Next time, just smile and be friendly. It will be so much easier to allow the issue to roll off your back. You may not even think of it again that day!

Observation: It is funny sometimes to see how a rude person reacts to your kindness and friendliness…You may make them so uncomfortable they don’t know what to do, or you may see them change their tune immediately.

The thing is, you never know what someone is dealing with in their life, or what they’ve dealt with that day…Give a person the benefit of the doubt first…

…However, what could possibly come out of being nice to someone that is bad? Nothing I can even imagine…

So, just be nice!

Again another Rachel Perry fragrance victory…Delicious smell of a Tangerine Dream!

It is a pleasure to wake up in the morning to wash your face to this fresh, tangy scent!

However, this foaming cleanser is specially formulated so that it doesn’t strip your skin of vital oils that are good for your face…It removes dirt and excess oil.

Great pump bottle that makes it easier to dispense the product instead of uncapping a bottle. The pump bottle allows you to use “the perfect amount” for you.

This face wash has alpha-hydroxy acids, including Glycolic Acid (sugar cane extract), Citric Acid (citrus extract), Malic Acid (sugar maple extract) and Lactic Acid (bilberry extract).

First of all, I absolutely love the smell of Rachel Perry products and this particular one is no exception!

First of all, this Perfectly Clear Herbal Antiseptic smells great…Fresh, clean and natural, as it should.

It is a large bottle – 8 oz. – that lasts quite some time!

I love the fact that it has a twist and squirt cap that allows you to easily, and with more control, squirt the astringent onto a cotton pad or ball.

Most importantly, it does work. My face has been much clearer of blemishes since I started this regimen, and is more controllable in regards to being oily.

I give this product a thumbs up!
