I love getting together with family over the Holidays, cooking for all of my loved ones those amazing Thanksgiving & Christmas recipes from generations before you. I love seeing all those shiny, happy faces speaking of all the fun memories together and sharing with each other their future dreams. Although, I love and cherish all of these things more than I could ever express...the memory of my father, my daddy, always run through my mind...even forcing me into a back room or restroom to Read more [...]

I'm not really hard to please when it comes to a good lotion. I want it to be a reasonable price, moisturize, smell great and not be greasy. Believe it or not, I get all of that in Suave Skin Therapy Natural Oatmeal Moisturizer. It rocks! It smells fabulous, does it's job moisturizing, and is totally not greasy at all! In fact, I can rub it on my hands, and easily use my keyboard on the computer within seconds after. Completely greaseless! I love this stuff! Also, it does Read more [...]

Whenever I am about to recycle bottles from beauty products that I finished using, they go next to my computer to remind me to tell you what I think about them. I tried the Coryse Salomé Performance Or Refining Eye Contour Gel. Did I Like It? Sure, I think it's a solid eye cream that you are able to use day or night to moisturize those eyes. It's nice and thick, but not greasy. I feel it has done a nice job... * Tip: I often like to moisten my fingertips with water before I apply Read more [...]

I "stumbled" upon a hot & trendy site today, Blowfish Shoes, with some really cute ideas in style...Their products, it looks like, are called Blowfish Malibu, actually. They talk about their style and comfort, and their great value. Apparently, the people who design their shoes  have worked on other famous brands, like Esprit, Rocket Dog & Hippopotamus, just to name a few! Blowfish Women's Shoes are super cute with casuals, booties and boots... I love the "Wildlife" boots; I'm Read more [...]

We saw Eagle Eye this week and what did I think? Well, it was a great movie, intense, full of action and had a plot with something new... Technology today allows us to be reached by so many methods...Cell phones, pagers, PDAs, computers, and that's just personal devices... This movie shows you in a blunt way that if the government really wanted to track us, they could in a heart beat with little trouble at all. They can monitor us, even when we don't think we're being monitored. In Read more [...]

Okay...It's not just me... I am a clean shoe fanatic! It is an extremely rare occurrence that you'll EVER see me in some dirty running shoes. Why? There's no reason for it. You CAN wash running shoes in the washing machine, and they come out like new if you do it correctly! So many people are afraid of washing their running shoes...Why? I do not know! Firstly, spray them with stain remover for tough stains...If they're just dingy, there's no need. Secondly, wash them in the warm Read more [...]

If you're a girl that likes glitter like I do, chances are you have a lot of clothing with glitter on them. Do you worry about washing them in the washing machine and losing all of the glitz? If so, here's a few simple, easy ways to help keep the glitter on your clothing instead of washing it down the drain: 1. Wash them in cold water: If you wash them in warm, you're more likely to melt the adhesive that holds your glitter on. 2. Wash them on the delicate cycle: If you have this cycle Read more [...]

I got a sample in the mail of the Sunsilk Anti-Flat Shampoo, Sunsilk Anti-Flat Conditioner and Sunsilk Anti-Flat Weightless Volumizing Creme. Firstly, it smells nice, but a little more perfumey than I would choose if I shopped to buy products at the store. The shampoo has amazing latherability! I used about 1/2 of what I usually would with other shampoos and I was able to generously work it through my long hair. It rinses out nicely and leaves your hair squeaky clean...There's something Read more [...]

Firstly, this conditioner smells like an Orange Creamsicle! Yummy & so very unexpected from this grey, professional, salon-looking bottle! Love that! It is easy to distribute through wet hair and does a phenomenal job aiding in detangling in the shower... Now, I have super long hair, if you didn't already know, and it can be difficult with conditioners that don't adequately coat the hair long enough to comb through it in the shower. It is very conditioning and moisturizing without Read more [...]
