If you're looking for a fun, new twist for some entertainment, you might want to check out the Banana Shpeel! Cirque de Soleil brings you a mixture of comedy, dancing styles such as tap, hip hop, eccentric dance and slapstick all brought together with a hilarious, roller-coaster-like story of adventures. No, it's not a circus. It's not a musical. It's not even a variety show or vaudeville... It's just wacky fun with intense choreography...Check it out for yourself: I've never Read more [...]

My hubby and I didn't go to see the movie "Damage" in theaters, and it's about to come out on DVD soon. It looks like it could be a good one to rent. It's got action and wrestling star, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, in it and it seems like a good story line. Check out his preview: I know it's an action/fighting movie and I'm a chick, but I still like a little bit of aggression every now and again - in fact, we watched Rambo last night! LOL Have you seen Damage? Let us know what Read more [...]

Have you tried using a Red Box yet? RedBox is a machine, often found in or outside of your local grocery stores, convenience stores, super stores or drug stores that you can rent newly released and classic movie DVDs for $1 per night. You have to use your credit card, so be prepared. You scroll through that machine's collection and choose your movie(s) for the night. You'll receive it out of a little slot in the machine, which is also where you'll return the DVD to. You will be Read more [...]

I know I do... I just came across a website today called ActorCast - are you on it? I just signed up today, but haven't completed all of my profile yet. Basically, it provides aspiring actors all the access they need to the major film and television productions out there... This will level the playing field for actors all over the world trying to land roles in Hollywood. Apparently, ActorCast.com is the offspring of Cast It Systems - an online database compiled for casting directors Read more [...]

As for me, I rarely ever get puffy eyes, unless I've been crying, so this is not an issue for me. However, if I did, I would thinly slice up some cucumbers and relax with them on my eyes for about 30 minutes to get rid of them. My problem often is that I get dark circles, mostly because I've been busy and not getting enough sleep. As you age, the skin under your eyes becomes thinner and thinner, making your dark circles more noticeable. Of course, you need a great eye wrinkle cream that Read more [...]

We went to the movies again on Friday and watched Star Trek and Next Day Air. Star Trek was phenomenal - loved it - and I wasn't even a Trekkie fan from way back...I watched it, but it wasn't my favorite show by any means. There was even a cameo appearance from one of the original actors from the show, which I won't disclose to you here - you'll just have to go and watch it yourself! Even if you weren't into Star Trek when you were younger, and even if you've never watched it before Read more [...]

Just wanted to update you on my newest modeling/promotion job with a jewelry company in Dallas, Texas. I'm starting the campaign on Tuesday next week. Then, provided I'm happy with them and they're happy with me, it will be on Thursday and Friday with continuing promotions they'd use me for. Very cool! They want me to work with them exclusively when it comes to the jewelry industry in Dallas - and that's fine with me... Doesn't this sound terrible? (LOL LOL LOL) - I get to wear absolutely Read more [...]
