When I’m looking for a body lotion, I prefer ones that are non-greasy and smell amazing and “fresh”. That’s just what I found to be true with Arbonne’s Unwind Aromassentials Body Lotion. If you were all unaware, I am the founder of LivingPink.info for Breast Cancer. This past year, a local Arbonne consultant, Lesley Dionissopoulos, took part as a sponsor for the “Living Pink Through Fashion” Show for Breast Cancer at Crystal Beach, Ontario. I say all of this because, as a special thank you for taking part in this event, Lesley gave me and my assistants special Arbonne goodie bags! (Thank you, Lesley!) One of the awesome things in my special bag was this body lotion. It’s made with chamomile for calmness and ylang ylang for relaxation, which is something I’m often in desperate need of! LOL To prove that statement, the show was way back in August, and I only just broke out my body lotion a few weeks ago now, and it’s end of January! Anyway, this lotion, again, is non-greasy, and smells very fresh and “spa-like”. Not only that, it does a nice job lightly moisturizing. Great for when you just get out of the shower! I would definitely grab another bottle of this body lotion again. Needless to say, Lesley Dionissopoulos is an awesome lady, and is not only very friendly & helpful, is very knowledgeable in not only Arbonne products, but in natural & organic products. Alyria Clarifying Cleanser from the Skin Optimizing System – Beauty Product Review

Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to try out Alyria’s Clarifying Cleanser that’s Oil Free from their Skin Optimizing System. If you were all unaware, I am the founder of LivingPink.info for Breast Cancer. This year, a Toronto cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Martin Jugenburg, was a speaker at our “Living Pink Through Fashion” Show for Breast Cancer at Crystal Beach, Ontario. He spoke about new procedures for breast reconstruction for patients that have had mastectomies or lumpectomies. I say all of this because as a thank you for being a part of our event, he gave me and my assistants skin care goodie bags. (Thank you, Dr. Jugenburg!) Anyway, this cleanser worked very well, and I really enjoyed it. In fact, it has lasted me since September and it is now end of January because you only use a small amount. It lathers up in a fantastic way, which I love because I have a pet peeve of my face feeling greasy after washing it with some cleansers. It also smells fresh. My face, during the time I was using this Alyria cleanser, looked renewed, younger, and was virtually blemish free the entire time. I am impressed with it, and am a bit sad that it’s gone!!! I’m going to have to get some more of this stuff. It’s worth it. Anyway, I just wanted to share with you a beauty product I enjoyed, because we all hate wasting good money on products that just don’t work or you simply won’t like. Wind Chimes Make Working in the Garden Fun

I do a lot of working outside in the yard and gardens in Niagara Falls and in Dallas. Hot days can fell very long and boring when you don’t have any amusement other than weeding, bagging and mowing. Garden wind chimes (aside from reminding me of the movie “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle”…LOL), make working in the yard much more fun, peaceful and tranquil. You stop concentrating on all the hard labor you’re doing and enjoy their beautiful sounds. I like the bamboo and shell type garden wind chimes because they remind me of being in Australia – I can still smell the ocean air and hear their sounds. So, when working on the investment properties we fix up, I like to hang a wind chime to uplift us while we “toil”. It’s so funny how noises can remind you of home. Whenever I hear a certain type of wind chime, it reminds me of being at my mother and father’s home in Canada and my youth. There were also garden wind chimes “Up North” at our cottage on Lake Huron. So nostalgic. Sounds like these can really be “noise therapy” – it can calm you, bring back memories and make dull errands much more enjoyable. Have you tried using a Red Box yet? RedBox is a machine, often found in or outside of your local grocery stores, convenience stores, super stores or drug stores that you can rent newly released and classic movie DVDs for $1 per night. You have to use your credit card, so be prepared. You scroll through that machine’s collection and choose your movie(s) for the night. You’ll receive it out of a little slot in the machine, which is also where you’ll return the DVD to. You will be charged $1 per night, so be aware of that while you have the rental DVD out. Yes, it knows your information too because you have to register with your credit card before you can rent. It’s an automated touch screen, so it’s really easy to use. Alright people – it’s nearing the end of summer, so get out there and get your fashion “on”! Enjoy every last drop of sunshine and fun before it’s too late…Get your sandals out and get on out that door… Ladies, when leaving the house you want to look summerlicious, don’t you? I know I do! So, here are 3 easy looks for the rest of summer so you look beachy and fun: 1. women’s wedges – These babies are rocking the house this summer, as with most summers. Get yourself a great wedge and you’ll look taller and more slender. Show off those beautifully painted toenails and they’re easy to just “kick off” when you get to the house or to the beach, alike. * Tip: Only getting 1 pair of wedges? Be sure you get them in a color that’s neutral, like sand, tan, brown, black or white so you can wear them with almost anything! *** My favorite neutrals this summer are metallics! They go with everything – Bronze is my color of choice, but silver and gold, as well as black metallic go beautifully well with so many outfits! 2. juicy couture flats – As we all know, as women, Juicy Couture rocks the house for style, right? Yup! Okay, so get yourself some stylish flats, that are also easy to store or pack in luggage, as they fold in half nicely! These are your “comfy” shoes. * Tips: Also great for days when your toenails aren’t painted or perfectly manicured! I know, I love my pumps too ladies, but there are days you just can’t even look at a pump or your feet will detach and run away on you to hide! Check these babies out – they’re great for just about anything: 3. uggs – I’ve been an “ugg-aholic” since the early 90s when I lived in Australia! There will also be days where you’ll want to wear them simply for a fashion statement – maybe going to the movies in the summer – you know it’s cold in there!!! * Tips: I always like to go with the tan or sand color uggs, as I find they go with most of my wardrobe – I have a black pair and a few other colors, but don’t wear them nearly as much as my neutral tan or sand! * Try wearing them with a cute mini jean-skirt! Too cute! * Plus, you can wear these in the fall, in the winter or around the house as slippers when it’s cold too! Very versatile pair of footwear. My Staple Perfume Right Now

When I travel, I can only pack so much, especially with the weight and baggage limits put upon us by the airlines. So, I try to consolidate and bring things that will work universally – and that includes beauty products! My perfume of choice this month for traveling is Victoria’s Secret’s Heavenly Perfume Scent. It’s soft and floral and simply smells heavenly! It is great for day time as it’s not overpowering, isn’t oily – so it’s not uncomfortable or staining in very intense heat like Dallas, and is beautiful and romantic for evening as well! Google Android Applications to Launch in a Few Days

I think I would do well with a Google Android phone. Why? Firstly, because I travel a lot, Android Storage would allow me to access photos, movies/videos, music and files, virtually, from the unlimited storage space online that would stream seamlessly to my phone without using my phone’s memory card. Secondly, when we’re in town, we’re always on the go – with me modeling, representing a celebrity client, and working on real estate properties with my husband, I need all the photo and file application umph I can get. Basically, it’s like you have a local memory for your phone, but it’s accessed remotely! That leaves your phone memory free for other apps you may need, instead of storing those larger files. There will be 4 apps available: AStunes, AScinema, ASpics & ASdisk I’m a movie freak, so the AScinema would be fabulous for me while traveling, and ASdisk would allow me to work on the go, as I’m always doing!!! This would really help me out a ton. Google’s about to lauch a set of main applications for the phone that 350 million users in the US and UK are expected to use. I was checking out PosyLane.com again today and I fell in love with the idea of getting a personalized ink stamp! It may sound funny or vain, but actually, they are really cool…I just want one for the heck of it…LOL I’d like to get 2 of them. 1. For both me and my hubby – An example is here to the left…They have different fonts, but I love that ours would be K E K We’re just cheesy like that! Isn’t this awesome? 2. For all of my recipes and Cooking With Kimberly correspondence – Check out how neat this one is to the right! They have one with spoons in the background instead of whisks too. I just fell in love with these…I’m sure I could find a use for another personalized ink stamp – they have some great ones that you can use for return address labels. What’s really cool is that you can also make these stamp desings into embossers – Neat idea, right? They’re so creative and stylish… Posy Lane just has the cutest stuff – I checked out their personalized children’s nap mats and I can’t wait to buy one for a friend’s child close to me! Of course, I’m girlie, so I’d have to get the pink one with little ponies around the border. I love how you can personalize it with the child’s name and you get to decide if you want the pocket of the blanket or the actual blanket embroidered and with what color thread, as well as your desired font…Love that! You wouldn’t believe how often I’m asked what perfume I wear… I own a lot of perfume, but stick to my few favorites that are “signature fragrances” for me! I have my favorite inexpensive perfume, a mid-priced fave, and a high priced fave… Today, I’ll share with you the fragrance I’ve been wearing since I was a pre-teen, and all of my old friends will tell you it reminds them of me… I love Wild Musk by Coty – Now, before you go getting your knickers in a knot, it doesn’t smell the same on everybody! If my mother tries to wear it, it smells like lemons on her. A few friends have tried it because they liked it on me, and found similar malfunctions. I guess, it has to do with your own personal body chemisty and what scents smell best on you. This is one of the ones that is a perfect match on me, my sister and my mother-in-law… On me, it is soft, subtle, musky and romantic. You can’t use too much, so it’s great for teens that try to use a lot of perfume – it won’t overpower… Not everyone can wear musk, from what I’m told. I loved it when I was younger because it was inexpensive and I could use it all the time! Today, in fact, I’m wearing this, by chance… Now, if you’re looking to get kissed on the neck later on in the day…LOL…this isn’t a great choice…My hubby hates the taste of it…it’s bitter…LOL… This might be a good boy repellent for your teen though…LOL What’s fabulous about this purchase, is that if you don’t like the smell on you, it wasn’t expensive and you can give it to someone else that loves it! *** I hope you enjoyed this Great Product on Through the Eyes of Kimberly Edwards! Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank is a serious concern for so many nowadays in this economic crisis. When I think about glasses though, I’m not going to wear a pair of glasses that aren’t at least stylish! So, it can be a real challenge as to where to find glasses that are the right prescription for you, and that are stylish to boot! As you know, I’ve covered a website called Zenni in the past, and guess what I saw today… Zenni Optical in the New York Times?! That’s right! Seems everyone is under the same financial crunch these days! They’ve got all the same stylish, trendy frames that you’ll find at your eye doctor’s office, but without that pricey receipt to go along with it! Perusing through the site today for glasses for my mother, I liked these ones the best! I prefer the square frames as opposed to the rounded variety!
