I hate giving bad reviews. I like to follow the motto of “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

However, I absolutely cannot let others use this product and have the same result as I got.

Because of the increase in stress in my life recently, from becoming host of a reality TV show – Model Rage International, opening up my own modeling & talent agency, and working on my jewelry line, I have had some breakouts on my face this week.

I can’t afford to have blemishes because my face is my business.

I tried this product called Clear Zit. It works with Benzoyl Peroxide and states “dries and cleans blemishes without overdrying skin” on the tube.

I put it on before I went to bed on my trouble spots and went to sleep. I could feel it “working” as it stung slightly.

When I woke up in the morning, washed my face and looked in the mirror, I was a bit concerned as each spot was slightly reddened.

As the day wore on, the spots got darker and darker. Today, it is 2 days and the spots are bigger and almost purplish.

Not only is there the color change, but my skin is extremely itchy and irritated – worse than bad mosquito bites. It’s driving me nuts.

The worst part about it is I am filming 4 videos today.

It did dry out the blemishes and removed them, but these blotches on my face are disconcerting to say the least!

If you’re looking for a good solution for blemishes, this is not the product you want to use, especially as a model! Stick to toothpaste for now!

How Can I Keep My Teeth White & Still Drink Tea?

A predicament I’m often in – Especially with Homemade Chai Tea!

I love to drink tea!!! It’s probably my favorite beverage right after water…

…But I model and often have close ups on my teeth…They have to be white too!

What Do I Do?
Well, a little known fact is that you can put a bit of milk in your tea – that’s all you need.

Why Does This Work?
Well, it’s the tannins in your tea that cause your teeth to discolor. Milk binds with the tannins and actually, coagulates them, making them unable to settle on your teeth.

Isn’t that fabulous? Yes!!!

However, if you drink your tea with lemon in it, don’t put milk or cream in your tea because the lemon will actually curdle your milk or cream and cause chunks in your tea that are really not aesthetically or texturally pleasing.

Also, be sure to brush your teeth after you’re done drinking your tea to ensure any tannins leftover won’t stain your teeth.

If you’re a tea drinker, it’s also important to floss because tea stains don’t care what surface of your teeth they discolor. When the in-between surfaces of your teeth get stained it makes your teeth look a lot less white too. Be sure to floss regularly!

Ladies, when leaving the house you want to look summerlicious, don’t you? I know I do!

So, here are 3 easy looks for the rest of summer so you look beachy and fun:

1. women’s wedges – These babies are rocking the house this summer, as with most summers. Get yourself a great wedge and you’ll look taller and more slender. Show off those beautifully painted toenails and they’re easy to just “kick off” when you get to the house or to the beach, alike.

* Tip: Only getting 1 pair of wedges? Be sure you get them in a color that’s neutral, like sand, tan, brown, black or white so you can wear them with almost anything!

*** My favorite neutrals this summer are metallics! They go with everything – Bronze is my color of choice, but silver and gold, as well as black metallic go beautifully well with so many outfits!

2. juicy couture flats – As we all know, as women, Juicy Couture rocks the house for style, right? Yup! Okay, so get yourself some stylish flats, that are also easy to store or pack in luggage, as they fold in half nicely! These are your “comfy” shoes.

* Tips: Also great for days when your toenails aren’t painted or perfectly manicured! I know, I love my pumps too ladies, but there are days you just can’t even look at a pump or your feet will detach and run away on you to hide! Check these babies out – they’re great for just about anything:

3. uggs – I’ve been an “ugg-aholic” since the early 90s when I lived in Australia! I know, it’s summer, but guess what…it gets cold at night sometimes, and these are awesome to wear on those cool nights when you’re having a bonfire or hanging out on the beach or camping.  There will also be days where you’ll want to wear them simply for a fashion statement – maybe going to the movies in the summer – you know it’s cold in there!!!

* Tips: I always like to go with the tan or sand color uggs, as I find they go with most of my wardrobe – I have a black pair and a few other colors, but don’t wear them nearly as much as my neutral tan or sand!

* Try wearing them with a cute mini jean-skirt! Too cute!

* Plus, you can wear these in the fall, in the winter or around the house as slippers when it’s cold too! Very versatile pair of footwear.

So, go out there, get your 3 pairs of shoes and enjoy the rest of summer to it’s fullest!

However, if I did, I would thinly slice up some cucumbers and relax with them on my eyes for about 30 minutes to get rid of them.

My problem often is that I get dark circles, mostly because I’ve been busy and not getting enough sleep.

As you age, the skin under your eyes becomes thinner and thinner, making your dark circles more noticeable.

Of course, you need a great eye wrinkle cream that will help nourish that area.

It’s important to start applying a good eye cream early, even in your late teens or early 20s to stay on top of it – before wrinkles, puffy eyes or dark circles rear their ugly heads.

A few weeks back, I had a photo shoot. The night before, we had somewhat of an emergency that kept me from getting a good night’s sleep.

…The thing is, the show must go on! Even as a model, you don’t have the luxury of canceling or not showing up – just like with any other job.

So, you put your best face forward and hope your make up artist for the day has skills to cover your dark circles up.

However, I wish I would have had a chance to check out EyeWrinkleCream.net before this shoot…it would’ve helped me out knowing about some of these creams!

In a profession where your every flaw is chewed apart by the people viewing your work, it’s important to do your best to look your best on a daily basis.

The thing with dark circles, in my opinion, is it brings out any other flaws even more – I don’t know why, but they do!

Be sure you’re drinking lots of water, getting good sleep, get some sun on your face and gently pat your dark circles with your ring finger to stimulate blood circulation to clear them up, as well as using a good eye cream daily!

What do you guys think? It has enough colors to match all of my bikinis I have here and it’s lightweight for this seriously hot Dallas weather!

Plus, when we go “Up North” this summer in Ontario, Canada, it’ll be a great cover up on the beach and for bumming around town with some sandals!

Today’s Saturday, so it’s sand volleyball day…Wish I had this piece today so I could dawn it for our outing today…

So, I figured they are a good cross section, especially of my readers here, and I wanted to share my answer that I’ve been “copying and pasting” to my friends as they contact me…

They often ask me if I’m a fitness model – I guess because they know I work out all the time, eat healthy and model too, but I wouldn’t even really label myself a total “fitness model” per se…

There is a huge industry in fitness modeling right now.

Why?
People are trying to be healthier…They’re working out more, eating healthier and are simply more aware of their bodies and fitness. So, why not make your efforts worth something, right?

To Tattoo or Not to Tattoo – That is the question:
Although I’m really not into tattoos and don’t have any myself, many people nowadays do, including my dear hubby…So, what’s the skinny?

Tattoos are still “in”, so you could get some work in the fitness industry even with them – especially with specialty industries (have you seen the “Suicide Girls” tatted up with piercings?)

However, there are a number of ways to cover tattoos up too, if you so desire in competitions or anything like that…everyone does it…LOL…So, don’t let that stop you.

My cousin also had a few tattoos removed with laser and you can’t even tell they were there…

If laser removal is too expensive or you’re afraid it’s going to hurt, check out this new product I just saw that you do at home to remove your tattoo:

How Do I Start?
Okay, if you’re interested, get yourself into great shape…Be sure you’re shredded nicely.

That means, you’ll need a work-out plan! The people in the fitness industry take their bodies very, very seriously…This is not for the “fly by night” or the “faint of heart”. It’s hard, hard work…

Not only in the gym, but with your very strict diet that will ensue, plus the money you’ll spend on natural supplements and vitamins to be sure you’re getting enough protein, etc.
