We went to the movies again on Friday and watched Star Trek and Next Day Air.
Star Trek was phenomenal – loved it – and I wasn’t even a Trekkie fan from way back…I watched it, but it wasn’t my favorite show by any means.
There was even a cameo appearance from one of the original actors from the show, which I won’t disclose to you here – you’ll just have to go and watch it yourself!
Even if you weren’t into Star Trek when you were younger, and even if you’ve never watched it before ever, you could still follow along and you get enough information to put it all together!
It was action packed with great graphics and good casting…4.5 stars
Yes, we went to the movies yesterday, as we usually do, and I have some great reviews for you this week!
1. X-Men Origins – Basically, the Wolverine movie and IT ROCKED! It was fabulous. Hugh Jackman did a wonderful job and I really enjoyed Gambit too! Interesting, power packed with action sequences and special effects! It was awesome! 5 stars
2. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past – This was really sweet, really funny and quite touching. Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner (along with Michael Douglas) did a great job in this well done movie. You’ll like it…My hubby almost cried – um, yeah – seriously! 4 stars
3. State of Play- Wow…This movie had you guessing the whole time. A star-studded cast of Ben Affleck, Russell Crowe, Rachel McAdams and Helen Mirren bring this huge corporate conspiracy movie with twists and turns to a head! Check it out! 4 stars

P.S. If you haven’t watched any of the previous X-Men movies, give ‘em a whirl…They’re really wonderfully done:
Well, it was a great movie, intense, full of action and had a plot with something new…
Technology today allows us to be reached by so many methods…Cell phones, pagers, PDAs, computers, and that’s just personal devices…
This movie shows you in a blunt way that if the government really wanted to track us, they could in a heart beat with little trouble at all. They can monitor us, even when we don’t think we’re being monitored.
In the movie, the 2 characters, Shia LeBeouf (from Transformers), and Michelle Monaghan (Made of Honor) are contacted by “The Voice” giving instructions as to what they are supposed to do immediately, step-by-step, with grave Read more…
Last night, we watched “The Eye” with Jessica Alba. Now, I’ve liked Jessica Alba since she first starred in Dark Angel on television.
The previews made us think that this movie might be a little too scary for me to watch, but we pursued it. I said we’d just turn it off if I couldn’t handle it…LOL…
I was a little worried at times, but it was all good.
Pleasantly surprised at how good the movie was, and the great story line behind the movie impressed us.
We thought it might just be another thriller with scary scenes that ended in a stupid, horror-movie type theme…
We were wrong. Jessica Alba did a great job portraying a blinded girl, who received cornea implants to give her sight, but not like other people…
She starts to see strange sightings…things that aren’t really there…things others DON’T see…
See a preview for yourself:
It’s not a children’s movie, but it’s not so scary you’ll have nightmares afterwards.
I give this movie a 4 stars and a thumbs up! Definitely worth the watch!

P.P.S. Tell us what you thought of “The Eye” by Commenting in the Comment Box Below!
Featuring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes and Ted Danson, Mad Money is entertaining.
It’s about some ordinary financially struggling families and individuals that finally find a way to get ahead in life…by stealing money from a federal reserve bank…
The story is all about the planning, executing and situations that arise because of their crime…
We enjoyed this comedy, but got a little frustrated that the story line dragged along for a while…They could’ve cut out some of the “more of the same” in the middle…
Not for children or pre-teens for sure…it’s an adult movie, in our opinion.
We give it 3 1/4 stars…LOL…
Worth a watch…

I could not even begin to tell you how many times we have watched all 3 movies in our household…Good thing everyone in the house is just as crazy for it!
If you have never ever seen The Lord Of The Rings, it is a serious MUST! The acting, for every character, is superb! The videography is wonderful, the New Zealand scenery is amazing, and the special effects are too good!!!
Check it out:
My mother says the epic novel, The Lord of the Rings in a 3 Volume (Trilogy) Set, written by J.R.R. Tolkien is even better than the movies, if that is at all possible!
