What many of you may not know is that I love to cook. In fact, I have my own cooking website, CookingWithKimberly.com Seeing that I spend a lot of time in Texas, we eat a lot of Tex-Mex & fabulous authentic Mexican food, especially wonderful during Cinco de Mayo festivities. What’s very unfortunate is that spicy food, topped with lime, mucho margaritas, or mucho cerveza can cause upset tummies, tummy aches and indigestion at it’s best. So, for those people out there that love to celebrate Mexicano-style, Pepto Bismol could be the answer. I Am a Serious Movie Lover

If you don’t already know, I am a serious movie lover… I don’t have a lot of time to myself since I’ve been so very busy working online, modeling & acting. However, in the rare chance I get some good free time, I greatly enjoy watching movies of almost any kind. I’m not crazy about horror movies, but love thrillers… My mother enjoys crocheting, and will watch movies while she does so – so I often get to watch movies in the background of what I’m working on online too. When we got our new flat screen television, we had to get an HDMI cable to attach the HD-DVD player to it. I’m just warning you ahead of time that you’ll most likely have to get one, if you happen to get a flat screen. What a difference watching these movies on the television! The quality is so much better – it’s crazy! I thought it was just some ridiculous thing when I heard that not only should we get a new DVD player, but then they started talking about HDMI and they lost me – I let Kenney deal with all of that. However, I took notice when I saw the difference with my own two eyes. By the way, HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface – it basically allows you to connect things for high definition – in a nutshell. There are so many times I have to look up certain cables for all of the technology we use – with our computers, laptops, fax machine, printer, cell phones, smart phones – and how to attach them all together to work synchronously. A great tip I have for you is to check out Wikipedia; they have information on everything! If you look up cables on Wikipedia, you can typically get the information you need to connect your life together – and maybe you’ll get a few minutes to sit down and smell the roses or watch a movie in my case. *** I hope you enjoyed this Movie post on Life of Kimberly Edwards! On January 1st, 2010, I will release my newest endeavor – my jewelry line. Well, if you know me and my style, I love things that are edgy, gorgeously glamorous and super trendy. I’m sort of a diva when it comes to fashion… Jewelry is the glitz of your outfit that defines your style. It should make you feel beautiful, confident, strong and powerful – that’s how I feel when I wear something amazing! If it’s not over the top, unique, and something that will make people turn around in their tracks to get a second look, it’s not in my jewelry line. I am pushing the boundaries and embellishing to the hilt. I believe in having fun with fashion whenever you want to dress it up…my jewelry is very wearable. Finally, I’ll be able to find the jewelry I want to wear because I’m making it the way I want it! You will be seeing a lot more of my fashion jewelry in my photo shoots as well, so keep your eye out. I found out a few days ago that the photographer I shot with, Sue Ore, back in January is donating a blown up photo from our shoot in black and white for Design Hope 2009, among other pieces of art. This charity event’s proceeds go to Hamilton Out of the Cold to feed Hamilton’s homeless. So, come on out to the Dundas Valley School of Art tonight @ 7:00 – 11:55 pm. There’s a $10 cover or whatever you’d like to donate. You’ll get some cool entertainment, light refreshments and a sense of giving helping the less fortunate this Holiday Season. If you’re looking for a fun, new twist for some entertainment, you might want to check out the Banana Shpeel! Cirque de Soleil brings you a mixture of comedy, dancing styles such as tap, hip hop, eccentric dance and slapstick all brought together with a hilarious, roller-coaster-like story of adventures. No, it’s not a circus. It’s not a musical. It’s not even a variety show or vaudeville… It’s just wacky fun with intense choreography…Check it out for yourself: I’ve never had the opportunity to see Cirque de Soleil except for some clips on the television, but I really would love to! Now, this show sounds like it’s just a mixture of everything and that it will be intensely entertaining…I would really love to be able to see this one. Apparently, this show is about Schmelky – a grumpy and cruel producer – that tantalizes Emmett, a young and romantic actor that auditions for him, with fame and fortune. Soon, Emmett finds himself immersed in a crazed and flamboyant world of crazy characters all under the supreme terrorous reign of Schmelky. Emmett falls in love with a leading lady and meets the Banana Man. I’m not sure what the Banana Man is all about…I think maybe Emmett befriends him and they knock Schmelky out of his dictatorship!
