Kimberly Edwards Speaks About 2012 PWSA Softball Skills Camp

If you all didn’t know, I am a softball player. This Victoria Day/May 2-4 weekend in Canada, I am going to be coaching as a pitching coach at the 2012 PWSA Softball Skills Camp in Oshawa. The young athletes I will be coaching are in the squirt and novice level, and I can’t wait to whip them into shape, and teach them all I know about the game and pitching. * Check out my Video below! I started playing when I was about 7 years old, and eventually went to Australia to play on 2 teams. I was sent over by Softball Canada, and played for a Western Australian team called the Kalamunda Knights. I then qualified for the State team to play in Nationals there. I then went to Texas A&M University on full softball scholarship, transferred to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana and finished my softball career there on full scholarship. Then, I transferred up north to the University of Northern Iowa, where she coached pitching on the university team, and graduated Summa cum Laude with a Pre-Med degree and numerous minors, one of which is Coaching. In between all of the schooling, I also returned home for 2 of the summers in university and played on 2 teams that went to the Canadian Nationals, and nabbed bronze with the Scarborough Rebels. That year, I won MVP Pitcher of the entire tournament in 1996. The next year, I went with the Kitchener team who represented Ontario in Calgary, Alberta at Nationals. Canadian Model, Kimberly Edwards, Photo Shoot for Sai Vachan Creations

Yesterday, I had the extreme honor of photo shooting for Sai Vachan Creations, a South Asian jewelry designer, with beautiful designs that could rival any other jewelry collection out there. My amazing photographer, Jia Naveed of Jia’s Photography, was absolutely fantastic to shoot with. Jia is as cool as a cucumber, calm and focused, giving great direction to achieve her artistic vision. With imaginative ideas, as well as a love for fashion photography, Jia knows how to get the “money shots” that are essential for any great shoot. I truly look forward to working with her again in the near future. Make-up artist & hair-stylist, Hajra Khurram of Vive Bridals by Hajra, “showed out” with her amazing, intricate up-do complete with braids, victory rolls and buns, which looked amazing in the photos, as well as in person. The make-up was beautiful and very precise, with a shade of blue, gold glitter and funky eyeliner! Not only did Hajra do a marvelous job on hair & make-up, but she also created each of my outfits for the shoot as a wardrobe stylist. She is a woman of many talents! On March 30th, Canadian model, Kimberly Edwards, officially shot with Carrie Lee of Clee Images for the first time in a closed session. This female empowered, strong, sexy, diva photo shoot turned out to be one of Kimberly’s favorites. The model said: Carrie Lee is fabulous to work with, easy to vibe off of, and gives marvelous direction to accomplish the vision she has in her head. It was fun today because I got to work “outside the box”, and express a part of me I often don’t get the chance to on camera. It was liberating yet classy, and will no doubt show that the new sexy is fit and in-your-face! At the end of March, Canadian model, Kimberly Edwards, had the honor of walking runway for South Asian bridal design line, Dhaagay by Madiha Malik at the Canada Pakistan Friendship Association Charity Event.
