As I said yesterday, I went on vacation this week, on last minute notice..."Up North" as us Ontarians call it...
It was great, and just what I needed...Some rest, relaxation, good food, time with my dogs, sunshine & surf...
I was practically the only person in that little town, well, no tourists yet for sure (that's why I don't want to say where this little paradise is...LOL)...It was very serene and quiet! Peaceful...

Alright, so I went on a last minute vacation this week!
Just wanted to say “Hello” since I’ve been away for 1 week up in cottage country in Ontario!
I had a very relaxing time “Up North”, spending most of my time on the beach and in the hot tub!
However, I'm home now, after some tears watching the beach disappear in my rear-view mirror...
...And with being home, I am getting back into the swing of things with 2 photo shoots this week, and possibly another next week!

Well, Spring has Sprung, and so has the weather...springs of water from the sky that is...
The weather just plunged to just above freezing with cold rain...uhhh! Last week was shorts weather here...
I was really looking forward to shooting with this new photographer...That's okay, we'll just shoot next week and hopefully, we'll get better weather!
To all of my fellow Ontarians, stay warm and dry this week! :)

I had a last minute shoot today with a new photographer I haven't shot with before, Jay Stuckless...
We just decided last night that we'd go outside today to shoot!
Here is a sample of what we shot today in St. Catharines, Ontario right next to Lake Ontario.

Well, it's still cold here in our area...We've got tons of sunshine, but the cold is still hanging on!!! Freezing rain 2morrow morning...Sheesh!
If you have to dress warm, you might as well do it up...I need color in the winter to cheer me up...It's so easy to get those winter blues...
Why not have winter pinks??? Right ladies?

One last hurrah for the cold...Need that fur in Canada!!!
I think Spring is trying to come, but it won't just stop snowing...We'll get inches of snow, then it will all melt, then more snow, then more slush! I'm ready for some sunshine!!! ;D

We had some gorgeous weather 2 days ago now, and last night, we were hit with about 6" of freezing rain pellets...Yuk!
