This happens in your home or your workplace at 8pm (your local time) on March 29th WHEREVER YOU ARE IN THE WORLD by simply turning off your lights, your TV, your dishwasher, your heating or a/c. You don’t have to be in Toronto (they won’t let me not put something in that spot) or a major city to participate.

On March 29th, 2008 at 8pm local time Earth Hour will commence ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

Created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a POWERFUL MESSAGE about the need for action on global warming.

Be part of making Earth Hour 2008 a huge, global success by telling your friends and family. Remember, every single light makes a statement and makes a difference.

Last year, on 31 March 2007, 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney (Australia) businesses turned off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour. This massive collective effort reduced Sydney’s energy consumption by 10.2% for one hour, which is the equivalent effect of taking 48,616 cars off the road for a year.

I like to try a lot of hair products because, as you can see, I have extremely long hair…

I picked up this great conditioner and wanted to share this great product with you since I hate going to the store, spending time choosing a product, paying an arm & a leg for it, and then finding out it doesn’t do what it says it would.

Often times, a cheaper brand can be comparable, but in this case, I did end up spending more than usual…I was feelin’ it…LOL

Well, if you know me, you’ll know that I’m crazy about green tea…

Contrary to popular belief, probably because green tea is touted to be such a healthy drink for you, green tea has lots of caffeine in it…If you stopped drinking regular black tea because you were trying to cut caffeine out…well, let me tell you that this is not the case.

However, Green Tea has many antioxidants and is good for you nonetheless…

I found a neat test for you to try to see how “caffeined up” you get…LOL…I was deemed a “vibrating crackhead”…I was wondering why I can get so much done and talk so much after I’ve had my green tea…LOL

I really don’t eat a lot of sweets at all…In fact, I don’t even like cakes, muffins, pastries or most cookies…

As a kid, my mother would have to come up with some creative dessert for my birthdays…I guess I was just weird…LOL

However, there is one time of year that I cannot resist…I do love chocolate, but not ALL chocolate…I am picky…I do seem to prefer Cadbury…but not ALL Cadbury chocolate either…

Ever since they came out with Cadbury Mini Eggs, when I was little, I have been sold…

That crunchy, candy outside, and the Cadbury chocolate inside…

Well, it’s still cold here in our area…We’ve got tons of sunshine, but the cold is still hanging on!!! Freezing rain 2morrow morning…Sheesh!

If you have to dress warm, you might as well do it up…I need color in the winter to cheer me up…It’s so easy to get those winter blues…

Why not have winter pinks??? Right ladies?
